I shared a post a couple of weeks ago on Instagram where I mentioned that my word for this year is ‘Wonder’.
I’m constantly in a sense of awe and wonder of the natural world surrounding me. But this year I also want to let go into the childlike wonder of my imagination. I’ll be releasing a collection of original artworks and prints throughout the year under this theme.

Here is my first offering ‘Pure Imagination’ an original Batik Watercolour on Rice Paper.

Batik Watercolour is a very involved process where I build layers of watercolour and wax.

The finished artwork is highly textured and full of colour with details of glimmering gold.
