Join me for a soul-nourishing workshop that blends mindfulness practices with art journaling, creating a sacred space to reflect, release, and embrace change.
As the vibrant hues of summer fade and the crisp air of autumn arrives, nature offers us a powerful reminder: transitions are a natural and necessary part of life.
In this season of transformation, we will gather to honour nature's wisdom and explore the beauty of letting go—just as trees release their leaves to make way for new growth.
Perhaps you’re going through a significant time of change in your life. Maybe you’re experiencing a transition in career, relationship, or life stage or perhaps you’re needing to let go of old limiting beliefs or stories.
This will be a safe place reflect and then express creatively as we write, paint, cut and paste in an art journal. All materials will be provided but you’re free to also bring any pens, magazine cut outs, or any of your favourite art supplies. No prior art experience is needed.
Through guided prompts, creative expression, and mindful reflection, you will gain clarity and inspiration as you move through your personal transitions with grace and courage.

What to Expect:
We’ll begin the session with a short grounding meditation to connect with the present moment and set a clear intention for your creative journey. Then we’ll explore autumn's wisdom and symbolic lessons through a visualisation exercise that invites contemplation on what you are ready to release.
Following this we’ll dive into our art journaling activity where we will reflect and play using a variety of mediums, such as paint washes, markers, and textured papers.
As the afternoon draws to a close, we will share a scrumptious afternoon tea together and conclude with an inspiring practice focusing on affirmations for the season ahead.
My greatest hope it that each person will leave feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and equipped with practical tools for enhancing their mental, emotional, and physical health throughout the autumn months and beyond.

This workshop is designed for anyone seeking to enhance their well-being and creativity during the autumn months. Whether you're new to mindfulness and art-making or have experience in both, this workshop offers something for everyone.

Additionally, if you're interested in exploring the therapeutic benefits of art as a form of self-expression and self-care, this workshop provides a supportive space to do so.

Where is the workshop?:
We’re holding the workshop in a lovely Gallery/ Studio space in West Ryde.
Venue: INTO- ARTS 71 Ryedale Rd, West Ryde
This beautiful studio space has loads of natural light and positive energy.
Ample street parking and right across the road from West Ryde Station if you’d like to catch the train.
Wheelchair access and no stairs.

Do I need to bring anything?:
I will provide each participants with a journal (which of course you’ll be taking home), collage papers, glue, paint brushes and paint.
Please bring any pens, markers, magazine cut outs that inspire you for the autumn season, any other art supplies that inspire you :)
