This artwork was inspired by a pair of Tawny Frogmouths living in the trees on our property. We treasure visits from these shy nocturnal animals. Their presence is always unexpected and brings a sense of protection and oneness with nature. Their low, gentle call, beats through the night as if to say ‘all is well, we’re watching over you’. I’ve always imagined this artwork in a child’s room or bedroom, but of course would be a peaceful addition to any room.

Each high quality professional print captures the colour and texture of my original mixed media artwork created from watercolour, acrylic paint, torn up tea bags with details in pencil, gouache and ink.

This very involved printmaking process allows for incredible resolution that exceeds museum grade standards in longevity requirements. The prints on paper come with a white border for ease of framing.
