Like threads woven through the fabric of my days, rhythms replace tightly held to-do lists.
Rhythms bring a sense of clarity and allow for deeper work.
Just like the tides ebb and flow, I’ve found consistent rhythms through experimentation and by paying attention to the energy needed for particular activities.
‘The Flannel Flowers have been so abundant this summer, playing their way through the season like a beautiful symphony.’ Flannel flowers, with their distinctive soft, fuzzy petals, carry a symbolism that is as gentle and appealing as their appearance. Native to Australia, these beautiful flowers are not only admired for their unique beauty but also imbued with various layers of meaning. It’s quite remarkable that through reaching out to help someone I love dearly, I’ve discovered a new path and passion.
A little while ago my sister came to visit me here on the coast for some rest and relaxation and to escape the pressures of city life.
During her stay, we went for a bush walk through the magnificent Bouddi National Park just behind my house. The trail was a little steep to start with but my sister was very fit so I wasn’t worried.
The Tuberose is one of my very favourite flowers mostly because of the exquisite perfume which is powerful enough to fill an entire room but also because of it’s soft understated colours. One would expect a flower with such a heady fragrance to be an extravagant colour.

I’m excited to announce that I’ve opened a shop front on Red Bubble.
My first design ‘Cherry Blossom’ is available on so many products from stickers and journals, laptop cases, phone cases and an array of wall art, even a wall clock.
I will be regularly adding to my Red Bubble shop and these will be different designs to those found on my website. I’m always looking for new ways to get my artwork out into the world and because I tend to produce a lot of work, it’s great to have different avenues with which to share my work.
